The board has decided not to open the pool or the tennis courts this year and is looking to complete the necessary repairs we have been doing in a piece meal process. While this may not be popular with some residents, I hope our reasoning will give you a better idea of the considerations we considered before making this difficult decision.
Our number one goal is to protect our residents as well as our association - not only from any physical harm but also fiscal harm.
After discussions the board decided to use this summer to do the necessary repairs to complete all work necessary on the pool as well as try to complete the needed repairs to the sports/tennis courts. The savings on operating the pool this year is budgeted money that could be used for the necessary work. If we were able to complete these two remaining projects we would have completed everything included in our Reserve Study and would no longer be required to have the residents complete a yearly Reserve Waiver form.
